Construction of Greg Playford Place within Vision SoHo is progressing well!
On April 19, with community partners and contributors, Homes Unlimited celebrated 50 years since incorporation.
Vision SoHo construction is well underway at the Old Victoria Hospital site. The Homes Unlimited building will be named Greg Playford Place, in honour of one of our longest serving board members who has also been instrumental in the overall Vision SoHo development. Greg Playford Place is located at the corner of Hill Street and Waterloo Street, and will comprise 93 units.

After two years of mostly virtual meetings, we were finally able to gather in person for the 2022 Annual General Meeting of Homes Unlimited. We were pleased to welcome representatives from the many organizations that contributed to our successful operations and projects throughout 2021: Arnsby Property Management, Shire Consulting, Nicholson Sheffield Architects, CIBC Wood Gundy, Belecky & Belecky, and Ford Keast LLP.
The Southside construction team at 99 Pond Mills is only one storey away from roof level! Once the roof is in place, interior works will get started. We have worked through both weather-related and Covid-related delays but currently plan an early 2023 completion.
We’re thrilled to announce that London’s city council has approved the $11.2 million investment in Vision SoHo – the largest affordable housing development in London’s history. Vision SoHo is a one-of-a-kind partnership between six local non-profit housing developers which will build 650 units, 400 of which will be affordable on the former Victoria Hospital lands site. We’re so pleased to partner with the City of London to help meet the demand for more affordable housing! Read more (click here).
